With transient IR hole-burning spectroscopy we observe large variations in the homogeneous linewidths of the O-D stretching mode of differently hydrogen-bonded deuterated zeolite hydroxyls. Different broadening mechanisms have to be taken into consideration to account for the observed linewidths.
