Characterization of organometallic complexes by Fourier transform - ion cyclotron resonance - mass spectrometry
The interfacing of electrospray ionization (ESI) and matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) with Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FTMS) offers new possibilities for the characterization of organometallic complexes. In this study we evaluate the application of ESI-FTMS and MALDI-FTMS as high performance screening techniques for metallo-porphyrins.
