Influence of Islamic astronomy in the Song and Yuan China -- some facts and discussions
The Song-Yuan period (960 - 1368) of China witnessed a peak of scientific development, especially in astronomy and mathematics. It is marked by Guo Shonjing's (1231 - 1316) great achievement in astronomical instrument-making and calendrical science.
